1. Purpose of this page
This page explains how users can request deletion of personal data related to Touriny. It covers the Touriny mobile app, the website www.touriny.com, web forms, the app availability waitlist, Facebook/Meta Login or Google Sign-In, and other Touriny-related services.
2. Controller
Controller: TOURINY S.L.
Address: Calle Can Barrera 119 A, 07141 Marratxi, Balearic Islands, Spain.
Operational email: customerservice@touriny.com.
Phone: +34 686 274 795.
3. Data that may be covered by a request
Depending on how you used Touriny, your request may relate to:
- User account: name, surname where provided by the login provider, email address, user identifier, and profile photo if authorized through Google or Facebook.
- Authentication: login provider, technical identifiers, and data managed through Firebase Authentication. Touriny does not store passwords on its own servers.
- App usage: destinations viewed, tours started or completed, usage time, screens or functions used, and app interactions.
- Location: data needed to show your position, calculate routes, guide you between points of interest, and determine arrival at tour stops while the relevant feature is being used.
- Pro version: license status, purchase date, transaction identifier, and purchase platform where received or needed to operate the service.
- Website: contact form data, waitlist data, language, source page, cookie preferences, technical logs, IP address, browser, device, and security signals such as reCAPTCHA.
- Communications: support messages, email requests, and service communications needed to operate Touriny.
4. Deleting your account in the app
If you have a Touriny app account, you can start deletion from the app by going to Profile > Delete account, when this feature is available in your version of the app. Account deletion will cancel access through that account and start deletion or anonymization of associated personal data that does not need to be retained for legal, technical, security, or legal-claims reasons.
5. Removing or disconnecting Facebook/Meta Login
If you logged in to Touriny through Facebook, you can remove permissions from your Facebook account:
- Open Facebook.
- Go to Settings & privacy > Settings.
- Open Apps and websites.
- Find Touriny or the name under which the app appears.
- Select Remove to disconnect the app.
This revokes permissions on the Meta/Facebook side. It may not automatically delete data that Touriny has already received to create or operate your account. To request deletion of data held by Touriny, also send a request to customerservice@touriny.com.
6. Requesting deletion by email
You can request deletion by writing to customerservice@touriny.com from the email address associated with your account or request. To help us locate your data, include:
- Subject: Data deletion request.
- Email associated with Touriny.
- Login method used: email and password, Google, Facebook, or another method.
- Scope of the request: full account, waitlist, contact form, support communications, website data, or all associated data.
- Reasonable information that allows us to verify your identity.
Do not send passwords, full payment card details, or unnecessary documents. If we need to verify your identity, we will request only proportionate and necessary information to process the request.
7. Response time
We will respond to requests in line with applicable data protection law. As a general reference in the European Union, rights requests should be answered within one month from receipt, unless complexity or the number of requests justifies a legally permitted extension.
8. Data that may not be deleted immediately
Some data may be retained when necessary to:
- Comply with legal obligations.
- Respond to competent authority requests.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, or unlawful use.
- Resolve technical or security incidents.
- Manage pending claims.
- Exercise or defend legal rights of TOURINY S.L.
- Keep purchase or billing records where required by law or payment platforms.
Anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies a person may also be kept. Backup copies may retain data for a limited technical period until rotation or secure deletion.
9. Purchases, Touriny Pro, and app stores
Deleting your Touriny account does not necessarily delete records kept by Google Play or Apple App Store, because purchases and payments are managed by those platforms. Refund, billing, or purchase-management requests must be handled according to Google Play or Apple App Store policies. Voluntary account deletion does not automatically entitle you to a refund for Touriny Pro if the digital content has already been activated or used, without prejudice to any non-waivable rights that apply.
10. Waitlist, forms, and website data
If you do not have an app account but left your email on the waitlist, submitted a contact form, or wrote to support, you can request deletion of that data by identifying the email used and the interaction type. We will delete or anonymize the data where appropriate, unless it must be retained for legal, technical, security, or claims-management reasons.
11. Minors and representatives
If the request concerns a minor or a represented person, we may ask for reasonable information to verify representation or authorization before acting on the data.
12. Relationship with the Privacy Policy
These instructions complement Touriny's Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains data categories, purposes, legal bases, recipients, international transfers, retention, and user rights in more detail.
13. Supervisory authority
If you believe we have not handled your request correctly, you may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority. In Spain, the competent authority is the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
